Jurançon Phoenix 2020 brand_Heron Harvested in mid OctoberPhoenix is the sweet wine of Clos Larrouyat. With moderate residual sugar (of around 60 g L), the racy Salharang style displays a terrific balance between moelleux styled sweetness and punchy, ripe acidity. Its discreet and fine yet luscious, with lemon barley, leatherbox honey and a twist of funky lanolin. Finishing vibrantly with waxy, honeyed perfume, this has the balance to match with savoury plates as well as lighter dessert dishes.
