Bruichladdich Octomore 14.2 5 Year Old Scottish Barley Oloroso Cask 70cl Wine & Champagne butter and white flowersThe Bruichladdich Octomore 14. 2 has been produced with 100% Scottish grown Concerto barley from the 2016 harvest. Then distilled in 2017 with 128. 9PPM, aged for 5 years in first fill oloroso sherry hogsheads, first and second fill Amarone casks. On the nose it is prunes, red currants and malted barley wrapped in leather. The palate brings the influence of European oak, a touch of dryness and vibrancy of wood spices, smoked oak and roasted coffee.
