It has the benefits of both parents (Comice and Conference)and has good sized pale green turning yellow fruits with occasional patches of gold brown russet. Its a reliable heavy cropper. As good as Conference if not better! The flesh is sweet and juicy yellow with a mild flavour. Concorde proves to be self fertile producing good crops on its own. Origin: East Malling Kent 1977
