Seguin-Manuel Mercurey Vieilles Vignes Rouge 2014 Bottle:12 For several generationsThis pretty wine is from very old Chardonnay vines in the village of Mercurey. These clay and limestone soils are in the Cote Chalonnaise, south of the Cote dOr. Hand picked, fermented and aged in oak for one year, this produced a wine of very pale gold colour and a mineral dominated nose, with plenty of fruit layered above. Very appealing, this has a natural balance that highlights the clean and ripe fruit. Soft texture and a lovely finish, this is a
