Margaux 2010 Coonawarra and smooth bubblesIntense dark ruby colour. Nose is very intense, with layers of fruit, spices, cassis, dark chocolate, cedar and violet. Palate has initial acidity giving lovely freshness. Lots of concentrated fruit, blackcurrants, oak and cedar, spices and perfumed. Balance is great and very complex. A big wine with a warm, long finish with firm tannins. Dense, rich and delicate. Donal Morris
