The English Whisky Virgin Oak 2013 70cl Chrome Vermentino and Chardonnay are grownThe English Whisky Virgin Oak started as an experiment but has turned in to a winner of a single malt whisky. On the nose the presence of coconut and liquorice are obvious with notes of toffee and dark chocolate in the background. Light vanilla and rich oak. Wood spices and cloves or nutmeg. On the palate it is rich, oily, spicy and the notes of dry oak and vanilla come through. Hints of honey, toffee and chocolate linger on the palate.
