There is good energy and detail to the sleek middle weight flavors where the relatively refined texture of the mid-palate contrasts markedly with the robust but not rustic finale

I would further note that this is less austere than is typical for a young Corton and as such it could probably be approached after only 7 to 8 years

although the residue of white pepper and bay leaf on the finish is very pleasurable

there is good fresh and reasonable verve to the supple
