and on this evening I ran into the full moon rising over the mountains

While living there for a few months during the fall I hiked up part of the hill to the east of the city to capture the fall colors changing around the University of Montana

For this photograph I had come across a small house in the distance and using the grasses close to the road focused on these directly

The falling snow helped hide the background in the park which let me capture just the trees as the focal element in this image with fresh snow

It was just a short period of time this was reflected prior to the start of a new day in Cuba

Growth from the Park Building and on this evening IDuring a spring snowstorm, I was walking through Cheesman Park when I noticed the skyline of Denver towering over some of the trees in the park. With a fresh layer of wet snow the trees were more so dressed like winter versus the month on the calendar. Cheesman Park may be a mile from downtown, but it provides ample opportunity to combine the elements of the park and the city.
