This barn is quite known by photographers and capturing the scene with some nice light and snow in the mountains is what brought me to the location on this early fall day

In addition to scouting the area

The falling snow helped hide the background in the park which let me capture just the trees as the focal element in this image with fresh snow

The park is quite different in the winter with just a small portion of road open in the park

The drive out to Golden was quite interesting as the snow was coming down fast at times with the wind blowing

Sunset over Missoula Size:20"x30" This barn is quite knownTowards the end of the summer one year living in Missoula, Montana I was able to capture the sunset over the city. It has been a pretty active wildfire season in the area, but by the end of August the skies cleared of the smoke around the city and evenings like this returned to the city.
