Mid Century Oak Painted School Teachers Desk Bureau living areas (great in alcoves)A gorgeous mid century, oak desk. Manufactured by Abbess in the 1940s 50s primarily for use as school teacher desks. Excellent restored condition. Constructed from solid oak and oak veneers, the desk features five solid oak drawers and one pull out writing slide. The carcass has been painted in a Farrow & Ball medium grey which complements the golden colour of the oak beautifully and gives the desk a modern twist. The oak has a stunning grain to it,
