it does look similar to some pricey agavoides I have seen in the past

very sparse grower roots

but I only have experience supporting that theory

If the succulent shown is vibrantly colored you will need to keep bright lights and cold temps on the succulent to keep its vivid colors. Stress colors may fade a little as the plant establishes in its new home, but
