In October 2008 I was in the area during a week long trip to northern California

I sat and watched as the waves of the ocean pushed up on the rocks and then as the water cascaded back into the ocean like a waterfall

The ski resort is not yet open

is the story of the Dayton Street Bridge across Interstate 225 next to the light rail station

In the past I have photographed from along side of the building and it wasn't until I was walking across the street from the Convention Center I noticed this image

Water Flowing over the Land Reflection In October 2008 I wasAs I looked out the window of the airplane heading towards Seattle the water flowing over the land drew my eye. At first I watched as it came closer to the plane and then started taking some images. Looking at it now the capture of the water reminds me of a tree as it branches out and in this instance the water continues to grow into the foliage of the tree or the open water.
