This whisky is matured in ex bourbon casks and a portion matured in "dark sherry" casks. We aren't sure what that means, but we like the taste nonetheless! Bottled at 46. 5%. Nose: At first meaty, earthy and spicy. Bold notes of dark chocolate emerge against orange, rich treacle toffee, coffee and oak. Smoky bonfire in the background, along with a
