On Thanksgiving morning this past year I headed to the Lake Merritt area near downtown Oakland to capture the city prior to sunrise

This is where I noticed the beach and water coming together and also leaving a reminder of the prior wave coming onto the beach during low tide

The City Park Criterium is held each year in Denver's City Park

This is one of the easiest ways to see the changes in Denver over the years, and capturing it on a yearly basis you can see the changes you may miss looking at it every day. This image was taken in 2010 of the Denver Skyline as the city continues to grow.
