Ethiopian Opal Necklace stone earring They have sterling silver postsThis necklace features an Ethiopian Opal cabochon, set in fine and sterling silver. It has a border that I make by melting scraps of silver, hammering them flat, and then soldering them to the backplate. The pendant measures 15 16 inch long. The sterling chain is 18 inches and finished with a handmade hook and the clasp. It was really difficult to capture all of the colors in a photo! I think the video shows the color play well.
