One of my favorite perspectives of the Colorado State Capitol is from Civic Center Park

Being just a couple of hours from Reykjavik this is a popular place to visit but it is hard to tell that by using the field as a foreground element

In the next couple of weeks this will start to change and the city will start to remove the flowers from the many parks in the City of Denver

The sculpture itself is formally titled "I See What You Mean" by artist Lawrence Argent and features a curious bear looking into the building

I photographed this tree once again from the original position and prior to heading elsewhere in the park I decided to try a different view of the tree from what I had photographed before providing the image Winter in Washington Park

While walking though the sand dunes area near Stovepipe Wells, the hardpan is covered by the sand.
