Late 19th Century Laos Tribe Painted Buddha (5) Baskets & Storage from the Dungarpur region inThis stunning buddha would have been hand carved by a Laos tribe in the late 19th century. This buddha was also hand painted which makes it rather unique. It is made out of a tropical hardwood, as appose to bronze, as the people who hand crafted these would not be able to afford bronze.
