This is the favorite photograph I’ve ever made at the Sandhills

I made several wrong decisions as I often do when the sky amazes me - I was so focused on photos that I didn't run a timelapse

This photograph centers on a small adobe structure tucked into the desert of the Big Bend region

and often feel closer to how the eye actually experiences a place
