Dark Clouds are Gathering and Light Clouds are Scattering original LinnM little things in life whileOil on canvas (based on childhood drawing) 50x70cm, 2024 These paintings are inspired by my childhood watercolor paintings on paper. I explored the compositions and rhythms of the childhood works, but contrasted them more to reach a higher intensity in the paintings. The bold and expressive paint strokes inspired me, and are recreated in the grown up versions. The two paintings are closely related but can also be bought separately. The childhood
