18K Rare Georgian Dendritic Moss Agate, Pearl, and Enamel pendant c. 1815 malta_cross 35 gSize: 6This rare small pendant was crafted in the Georgian period, circa 1815. Hallmarked with a rooster head, facing right, which was in use in the departments between 1809 1819. It features an oval moss agate which is surrounded by a frame of natural seed pearls and a halo of blue enamel. Dendritic agate, or moss agate, is known for its tree like inclusions resembling delicate ferns or branches etched in stone. Characterized by its translucent to opaque
