Patrick Piuze, Chablis Premier Cru 'Vaulorent' 2021 JURA Be silly not toPlace: Burgundy, France Grape: Chardonnay Vibe: Classic, textural Okay hi, omg. Chablis of the highest order, and it's a pretty high order to begin with. This is one of the jewels of Piuze's range, which, again, is saying something. Coiled and taut, this is super concentrated, with pear fruit and smoke backed up by oyster shell like minerality and hints of a loaf of bread that just came out the oven. Long finish, as per with a wine of this quality.
