Just place under your honey supers with the triangle side facing down. Overnight the bees will move into the bottom box through the escape board and they are unable to move back up. Leave it on for 2 3 days max. You will have some stragglers (especially if the nights aren't cool enough) so you will want a brush to get the last ones off.
