We kept a pretty wide area towards the tip for maximum hold while noseriding. The rake and base allows you to trim and turn at ease. Best effect would be on a good old square tail longboard in the 9ft upper range but can be surfed of course on pintails, pigs or any longboard that you wished hold noses better.
