The chest is an upright miniature cabinet - WONDERFUL as a furniture piece for a special doll

but the fact that it is a corner leaves that open space

closed and perhaps even sealed with a small sealing wax/cachet to avoid prying eyes of even one's trusted courier

Goods of inferior quality just did not make it there

and it was quite a chore

The pair of crested birds up top are superb anatomical studies, both, and remain in such fine condition throughout. The added width at widest point with legs makes this a large 9. 75". Standing tall, too, at 9. 5" tall. Beautifully ornamented throughout. The interior of this one is 7" width, 6. 75" front to back, and 2 3 8" depth to the
