The brown wooden handle is in very good condition also

white and red which are twisted together

There is a dedication to a previous owner named Tom Jones on the first page

It appears to have some kind of maker mark by the chinstrap bale but I cannot read it

This has a silver finish that remains mostly in place. This beauty commemorates the 14th turnfest or Gymnastics Festival in Cologne, held the week of July 22nd to the 29th in 1928. The festival was massive, bringing together roughly 300,000 participants from 21 different countries. The horizontal pin functions as it should.
