Designed specifically for the accurascale Class 37  locomotive with ‘Original’  Engine Configuration

Birchills came under the control of the WMJEA in 1925 and in 1944 it was decided that a new Station

the locomotive was purchased by the NCB and allocated to number 6 area

While bogie wagons suitable for sundries, bagged cement, and other traffic were already on the drawing board, an interim solution was needed. The result was the 12 ton Pallet Van, based on the standard triangulated wagon chassis. This development of the traditional van wagon featured offset sliding doors wide enough for pallet loading
