CA-PEG4-Azide halotag Nature 2016HaloTag is a self labeling protein derived from the haloalkane dehalogenase DhaA from Rhodococcus rhodochrous. Its active site reacts with chloroalkane substrates to form an irreversible bond. The covalent linkage between the HaloTag ligand and HaloTag protein enables rapid isolation and purification.
