Pierpont Morgan (1837 1913) for use aboard his personal steam yacht Corsair, built in 1890. This soup bowl by Minton's has the J. Pierpont Morgan signature navy blue trim with gold accents. Reverse has Mintons stamp. Inside top of the bowl has the New York Yacht Club burgee and the Commodore flag crossing staffs with a blue banner beneath reading "Flagship". J. P.
