Port Ellen 37 Year Old 2017 Tamdhu This release features Jules VernePart of Diageo's Special Releases for 2017, this is the 17th annual release of Port Ellen. The Port Ellen distillery was closed in 1983 and has since become one of the world's most sought after whiskies for drinkers and collectors. Distilled in 1979, matured for 37 years in refill American oak hogsheads and butts and bottled in 2017. Only 2,988 bottles were produced (and this is bottle number 2,988!). Bottled at a natural cask strength of 51%.
